Text messages containing shared public shortened URLs such as Bitly or TinyURL are being blocked by US carriers. They are being blocked because there is a high risk of scammers masking the original link with these services. Only public links are to be blocked. Company specific custom domains will not be blocked.

What does this mean for you?

From October 24th, 2022 you will need to connect your own company branded domain to your account. This will enable our tracked link functionality to generate unique shortened URLs using your own company branded domain and utilize our link tracking feature.
