Burst SMS can simply integrate with Rockend REST Professional software, providing a low cost alternative.

Just set up a Burst SMS account and add the email addresses of your REST users to the Email SMS section.

You can add as many emails as you need. When the person receives your message, it will come from a Burst SMS virtual mobile number so make sure you mention your Agency name in the message itself.

When the person replies to the SMS, the reply will be returned to the email address of the user, who can in turn reply to that email to send it back as an SMS.

To set up Burst SMS in REST, simply add our email SMS gateway address to your company defaults section in the SMS provider email address field.

sms@transmitsms.com

Once that is complete you will be able to send SMS from REST.

There are some more advanced features that allow you to setup reply templates, for more information see the Rockend User Guide.
